Amazing spot! I go to both locations but stay I stopped by Glendale and had a great experience! Wonderful barista, even better coffee! Wild matcha foam coconut water drink and a rose latte! Check this place out!

Ok, this is a particularly sad one — one that may even make it to become the #1 poster boy in my upcoming business lecture tour and book. Coffee. So many people define themselves as experts. Sadly, many of those same people will walk in and say things like, “Gosh, I’m tired, could you make me a double espresso?”, clearly assuming that stronger taste automatically means more caffeine. My wife and I simply like a good coffee in the morning. Which leads to the obvious question: what do we define as “good coffee”? For us, it helps us get into the day, tastes pleasant, and does not leave a bitter note. We are absolutely not coffee experts and can discuss coffee, at best, at what we Germans would call “Thekenniveau” — bar-counter level. I do understand, however, that it may make a difference whether beans were roasted weeks or even months ago somewhere remote, then shipped and stored, or whether they were roasted locally and recently. So we asked ChatGPT, and one of the recommendations was REGENT Coffee in our neighborhood. We went. I’m kind of shocked that my matcha latte was $10.75 for the taste of sweet milk. When my matcha came out I already knew it wasn’t going to be the best because of the color. It was very pastel green and it tasted like milk. Sweet milk. I felt like I was drinking milk and so did my friend. If i’m paying almost $11 for this drink (which costs $1 extra to add flavor) I expect it to be top notch. This place was a disappointment for me :/

Regent Coffee is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots in Glendale. Their Tiramisu Latte is absolutely incredible, rich and creamy with a subtle hint of bourbon that gives it a unique twist. The staff is always warm and welcoming, which makes every visit even better. I never skip this spot whenever I’m in the area, highly recommend if you’re looking for exceptional coffee and service!

January 2025: Stopped by for an afternoon coffee ☕ and tried the Ethiopia pour over. I'm a big coffee snob and I thought my Coffee was fantastic! 😋 Temperature was nice and hot. Cocoa, Jasmine, strawberry 🍓 and lime 🍋‍🟩. I like my coffee with a little Califia farms oat milk and they had it for me. They charged an extra $0.25 for the oat milk. Not too bad. Note that the coffee is on the pricey side ($13.25 for my pour over). Service was friendly and attentive. Will be back again.
